Importing Files

There are three methods for you to load your video: 1. Clickfile:4Videosoft iPhone Video-1.jpgto add video and audio files from your local disk.
2. Click "File" to open the file menu, then select "Add File" to load your source files.
3. Drag the video and audio files into the file list window directly. Click here to see the supported input formats.

The five buttons under the file list are as follows:

Clear all: Click to remove all the added files from the program.
Rename: Rename the destination file name of the selected file.
Move up: Move the selected file to the previous position.
Move down: Move the selected file to the next position.
Properties: Click to see the specific information of video and audio.

You can also right click on a file to open the right-click drop-down menu to edit your selected files:

Preview Files

After importing the video files, you can preview the video in the preview window on the right of the main interface. It also works as a common player.

It allows you to capture pictures when you preview:

Adjust Effect

With 4Videosoft iPhone Video Converter, you can adjust the effect of output video and audio.

Brightness: Drag the Brightness adjustment bar to set the brightness of the video.

Set Deinterlacing: When you convert the interlaced video formats such as 720i, 1080i, for you to obtain better output videos, you can check the Deinterlacing function to avoid mosaics on the picture.

720i stands for resolution of 1280x720 pixels and the magic little 'i' means that the video is in interlaced format.

1080i refers to an interlaced HDTV signal with 1080 horizontal lines and an Aspect ratio of 16:9 (1.78:1).


Trim Video

Drag the slider bar

Click "Start Time" and "End Time" button

Set the values

Input certain time number in Start Time and End Time fields manually and click "OK". The Select Length will appear. Once you input the Start Time, you can also directly input the Select Length and click "OK".

Crop Video

With 4Videosoft iPhone Video Converter, you can remove the black edges around your movie video and customize the aspect ratio.

There are three methods available to crop your video:

Method 1: Crop by adjusting the crop frame

The crop frame is the yellow line around the movie video. There are eight small adjustment boxes on the crop frame. Each adjustment box allows you to crop the movie video from a different position. To crop your movie video, you can just move your mouse cursor to an adjustment box and drag the crop frame.

Method 2: Crop by setting the crop values

There are four crop values on the lower left part of the crop window: Left, Top, Right, Bottom. You can set each value to crop your movie video, and the crop frame will move accordingly.

Set the Zoom Mode

You can also set the output aspect ratio from the Zoom Mode according to your need. There are four choices available: Keep Original, Full Screen, 16:9 and 4:3.

Note: After you crop your video and set the zoom mode, the result can be previewed in the Output Preview window.


Join Video Files

4Videosoft iPhone Video Converter allows you to join your selected contents into one file.

Output Settings

You can set the output settings for the selected file in this area:

Profile: Select an output profile for the selected file that you want to convert. Click here to see the output formats.

Destination: Click file:4Videosoft iPhone Video-23.jpg to specify a location on your computer to save the converted movie. If you want to open the output folder, you can just click file:4Videosoft iPhone Video-24.jpg .

Settings: Click file:4Videosoft iPhone Video-25.jpg to open the Settings window.

Set video encoding settings by setting Encoder, Frame Rate, Resolution and Bitrate.

Set audio encoding settings by setting Encoder, Channels, Bitrate and Sample Rate.

Tip 1: For Resolution setting, you can choose the pre-set Resolution from the right drop-down list. You can also directly input your own resolution as the form of "XXX*XXX".

Tip 2: You can customize the video and audio encoding settings and save them as your own profile. After you have chosen the encoding options, just click the Save as... button and name your profile, and then the profile will be saved in the User Defined list. You can use the customized profile next time by selecting it from the list.

Note: When you choose the specific settings, the lower window will show the "Help" to explain the meanings of each setting.


Preferences

Converting Files

After finishing all the necessary settings and editing, you can click file:4Videosoft iPhone Video-30.jpgto begin the conversion.

Show Preview: Check to preview the converted video effect during the conversion.

Shut down computer when conversion completed: If you check this option, this program will automatically shut down your computer after the conversion is finished, so you do not need to wait around your computer.

Open output folder when conversion completed: If you check this option, when the conversion is finished, the output folder will be opened automatically.
