How to use Static Thunderbird Backup

To start backup is easy, just few clicks you can get your backed up archive ready.

Quick steps:

Open backup program and wait for the item searching process. (within 1 minute, all items should be scanned)

Check or uncheck the items on main window, you can click the check-box on left of the item to toggle the item check state

Click speed button to open the backup window

In backup window, click button to indicate the output archive file.

Note: You can click Generate button to get an output archive filename automatically. For more information about the generator, please check Preference topic.

Choose compress your archive (need registered version)

Setup a password for your archive (need registered version)

Transfer your backed up archive to FTP server?

Burn your backed up archive to writable CD/DVD device?

Click Start Backup button to start backup process.

Notes:

The gray steps is not necessary

You need fill preference settings before you use Filename Generator, FTP uploader, CD/DVD burner You can not compress or encrypt your output archive before you get a license of the program
